This inexpensive bar provides firm and comfortable grip compared to round-handled pulldown/row grips at the gym. I donated it and they bought a wide-grip unit after the owner tried it himself.
Received yesterday, Wife used it instead of the normal pulldown. Huge difference for her and gave it a go after she finished.. Love this handle. Great work
I recently purchased the close grip neutral attachment from mag grip. Upon using them the first time I felt the difference in my back from the first pull on the cable pull down machine at my gym.
This particular attachment worked the middle of my back more so than the v bar you see in most gyms. The grips hand placement makes it so that you can only rest your hands on top. The ability to close your grip fully and using your thumb to complete the grip is taken out of the equation. By doing this I was able to complete pulldowns using my inner back muscles and not pulling down with my hands and arms. My elbows naturally flared out slightly as I pulled down so my inner back muscles were activated in a way they never have before with a regular v bar.
I would definitely recommend this attachment to anyone who is serious about getting all they can out of their back workout. This attachment can also be used on a seated cable row machine and standing cable pull machines.

Really enjoy back training ... Always looking for newer products and hoping for better results ... Started researching and found MAG attachments ... Read the reviews and purchased first the wide-grip and then the close-grip neutral ... Both of these are quality construction and were packaged extremely well, no damage in shipping ... The shape of the grip is comfortable, substantial and ergonomically correct ... If I could only choose one of their offerings, it would be the wide-grip ... Feels so right when pulling ... Great decision and very effective tool ... Only wish the med-grip supinate was about 15 inches wide and not 22”, would buy immediately ...
